The brand, New Leaf Detox Wellness Resort in Thailand, was started in Lamai beach Koh Samui in 2006 by our founder and owner, Air Page.
In 2019 we completed construction and moved into our new Maenam beachside resort.
Our purpose-built detox, health, and detox wellness resort in Thailand has everything you need for a relaxing weight loss and wellness holiday.
The New Leaf Detox Wellness resort is in the middle of beautiful Maenam beach, approximately 6 km long. Maenam is a famous swimming beach.
Our property is seven rai, almost 3 acres of flat coconut grove. The land has peaceful garden bungalows well away from the main road.
The New Leaf property is a garden paradise with beautiful native plants and flowers, organic herb gardens and a waterway flowing through the middle of the property surrounding the bungalows.
Our on-site Gardners manage the waterways and maintain the floating lotus and water-flowers to keep the water quality free from mosquitoes or bugs.
There is a herb garden with over 100 herbs which we use in the guests’ soups and juices.
In addition, we have a 300-plant hydroponic garden where we grow green leaf vegetables for the guests’ meals.
New Leaf Wellness Resort is designed for relaxation and convenience. We have everything you need for a comfortable detox holiday.
2021 saw us add the word ‘wellness’ to our brand and drop the word ‘detox’. We did this after the opening of the New Leaf Wellness Clinic inside our new Maenam Beach Resort.
This medical staff-operated clinic offers many unique services to complement the guests and visitors’ detox experience.
Our new Wellness Clinic offers affordable detox enhancement services, including:

Day Detox and Clinic Services Available
Day drop-in services are available for all Koh Samui residents and visitors.
The pool is a 25-meter x 8.5-meter beachside, saltwater lap training and group activity pool.
The pool is deep enough to tumble-turn for lap swimmers and shallow enough for your aqua spin bike, swimming lesson or daily aqua aerobics classes.
Beautiful deck chairs and umbrellas surround the pool, which is maintained daily by our staff. We provide beach towels.
During construction, the brief was to place the pool for maximum sunshine throughout the day. The pool tiles called ‘crystal blue’ came from two natural quarries in Bali, giving the pool a unique look.
Our beachside pool is drenched in warm Thailand sunshine from sunrise to late afternoon.
The New Leaf Wellness spa is a modern state-of-the-art facility in the main building. In addition, there is separate women’s and men’s facility.
There are two spa areas, a women’s and a men’s section. Each facility features a sizeable far-infrared sauna, herbal steam room, shower, toilets, changing areas and lockers.
The spa facilities are an essential addition to your detox.

Your daily sauna and steam are scheduled between massages and colema and are guaranteed to assist with weight loss and relaxation.

Our Detox Wellness Resort Thailand is for most budget travellers or a guest looking for affordable luxury. We offer four room types and provide a range of single and couples rooms. All rooms have either a queen or king-size bed.
The 35 square meters Standard bungalow can accommodate a single or couple. The larger single or couples 60 square meter Deluxe bungalow is located along the river close to the main building, pool and beach.
The main building has three luxury 55 square meters, split-level Loft rooms.
The Lofts have beautifully appointed rooms overlooking the pool and beach.
The compact junior single bungalow room is perfect for the budget-conscious traveller and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We have something for everyone. Visit Our Rooms here.

At New Leaf, we believe movement and some exercise will assist you in your wellness goals. Regardless of your mobility or physical restrictions, we have some activities for everyone.
Our gymnasium features free-weight dumbells and kettlebells. We have several cardio machines from treadmills, elliptical, rowing and bike if you prefer cardio.
The fitness space has a boxing, yoga, stretching and TRX area.
The gym is fully air-conditioned and overlooks beautiful Maenam beach and the pool.
We have a beautiful, peaceful yoga deck at the back of the main building on the second floor overlooking the detox wellness resort and out to the mountains. Yoga, stretching, and meditation classes are in this area. In addition, we have a quiet room next to the yoga area for those who want some time alone.
New Leaf constructed a 300 sqm purpose-built detox building. This building contains nine x 15 sqm detox rooms, one colon hydrotherapy room and a comfortable reception area.
Your colema room and time are listed daily on a schedule board in reception and at the guest area.
Each detox room is air-conditioned, soundproof and very private.
There is a changing area, basin, mirror and clothing rack with towels. The detox area has two toilets and a large shower area.
Coffee colema and colon hydrotherapy is a large part of the detox process. Our mission at New Leaf is to make the guest experience as comfortable as possible.
If you need assistance there are two full-time staff and a wellness nurse available.
